KIB: Association for International Affairs

De Kring voor Internationale Betrekkingen, KIB for short, is an interfaculty student association at the KU Leuven focusing on topics regarding the field of international affairs. Our goal is to raise students' awareness and inform them about developments in international affairs. We feel this is of great importance, because today's major issues have acquired an international dimension and the beginnings of a multipolar world are visible.

The events we organize are typically lectures, discussions and a yearly trip. Furthermore, we regularly hold KIB cafés with special guests that offer the opportunity for a more personal and informal Q&A session. Our speakers vary from our very own KU Leuven professors to senior politicians and journalists. Last but certainly not least we offer a platform for students' articles related to international affairs through our periodical Global.

Are you interested? Then please like us on facebook to be notified of our events or check back here regularly. We're also always looking for new writers so feel free to contact us through facebook or by email to submit your pieces for Global.
